Freedom

We must become consciously aware of the choices we make in every moment of our lives. And realize, everything that happens in this moment is a result of the choices we made in the past.
We often make choices unconsciously and fail to see them as choices, for example, if I were to insult you, you would most often make the choice to be insulted. And if I were to pay you a compliment, you'll most likely make the choice to be flattered.
"we've become bundles of conditioned reflexes that are consistently being triggered by people and circumstances into predictable outcomes of behaviors.
But, we must realize that, "between what happens to us (the stimulus) and the response to the stimulus there's a space, in that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response. "
And you'll find, that, within those choices lies our growth and happiness.
In order to achieve such a feet, you must exercise your freedom through self awareness, imagination, and conscience.
You see, we can often allow external factors to hold us captive. Wheather it's others opinions of us, or our emotions.  But by excercising our freedoms from within, they can become greater and greater. To the point where our freedom becomes greater than the very thing that holds us captive. Our freedoms not liberty. We have control over freedom not liberty. Freedom is internal,  liberty is external.
The more you control your freedom,  expand and deepen it, eventually it will influence your liberties in life. And so, your head will create your world. Your response to the stimulus will eventually influence the stimulus.

Peace and Love,
